Huntington Swim & Tennis Club Online Registration
Our online household registration is a one time event  If you registered your household last year you do not need to do it again.  However if you forgot to register before or if your a new member then please go ahead.  Please enter your bond holder/household information in the top section.  Then add information for each household member below. (Yep, bond holders get their name listed twice).   Please turn your caps lock off and complete the fields you can using proper capitalization for the names.  If you do not know something or it is not applicable you can usually leave it blank.  Please note that this form does not subscribe you to our email news letters.  We use a separate service called constant contact for our email newsletters and that is a simple but additional subscription process.  Use this button on our membership page to subscribe.   You can unsubscribe at any time from the bottom of any newsletter.  If you are already getting our newsletters there is no need to subscribe again.

Once the entire form is filled in, click the "Save" button.  You should only need to register once.  If you registered using this online form in past years that is good enough. If you have questions or suggestions you can email: jim@huntingtonpool.org .  Thank you for registering and don't forget to scroll to the right!

 

After you hit the save button you should see a simple confirmation page listing the names of people who were added.  If instead you get an error hit your browsers back button and double check your data for unexpected characters in your data fields.  For example, you may have to leave your bond number blank.  Then you can correct and re-save. Don't panic too much about duplicates.  We can figure out how to deal with them. 

 

Why are we asking?  We have 2 goals here. 

1. To help members with similar interests find each other through interest group programming.  Other clubs have built successful bicycling groups, tennis groups, and teen programming by offering opportunities for people to meet.   This information is optional.

2. To accurately identify members and non-members.   We hope you can continue to enjoy a club where you just sign-in and do not need to carry an ID card.  Unfortunately, there are those who take advantage.   Going forward those who give us some ID info will not have to present ID to use the club.  Also, there is your security.  When staff know your faces and can find your phone numbers it helps us keep your family safe and find you in an urgent situation.  Since many members send us their kids it would be cavalier not to ask how to reach you. 

 

While we will make every effort to keep your information internal you are welcome to use your judgment on what information you want to share with the club.  Some believe that we are asking too much.  Others realize that for soccer or pre-school they ask much more.  When in doubt, we added a field.  However, you decide to fill it in our not.  It is hard to create a form that asks the right questions for the each person.  So everybody will have some fields that are just not applicable.  For example, we don't need to know how old the husband and wife are.  But, if you list the month and day we may email a birthday coupon etc.  If you have questions or suggestions you can email me:  Jim Ensign  (I am Huntington's head volunteer so the buck stops here).
